Protect your doors from damage with diamond plate! Our light duty (.045”) commercial grade aluminum diamond plate door kick plates work great to prevent door damage in areas where mid-light impact is expected. For those heavy duty environments, we suggest ordering our 1/8 inch thick (.125") heavy duty metal kick plates.  These light duty metal kick plates work great for doors on commercial buildings, restaurants, factories, warehouses, garages, workshops, trailers, homes, and special projects.  We offer custom cut aluminum diamond plate kick plates in any size up to 4' x 10' When you need extra protection nothing works like diamond plate. Installation: Installing our light duty .045” aluminum diamond plate kick plates is easy. We suggest using caulking adhesives such as Loctite (PL Premium or PL Premium Advanced) or Liquid Nails (Mable & Granite.) These and other types of adhesives should be available at your local hardware store, and applied correctly will allow you to easily bond your polished aluminum diamond plate to a wide variety of common building materials such as drywall, metal, concrete, wood, brick, or fiberglass. If using an adhesive it is highly recommended to clamp your push plate until the adhesive has had sufficient time to cure. When installing larger metal kick plates or in environments that need stronger support we suggest using mechanical fasteners in addition to an adhesive. This .045” diamond plate may require drilling small pilot holes if you plan to use screws to fasten this diamond plate. Screws and adhesives are not provided with our kick plates and should be selected and sized to accommodate your specific design.
