To add the diamond plate sheets to your small area, first you need to clear everything out of the area.  Next, you need to prepare the surfaces that you will be applying the diamond plate to.  The area should be clean and dry.  Do not use cleaning products that will leave a residue (residues on the surface may prevent the diamond plate from properly adhering to the surface).  After that, you will need to make sure that the diamond plate sheets are cut to the size that you need for the space.  Don't forget to allow openings for light switches, outlets, and other fixtures (CutsMetal even has switch plates and outlet covers that will match your project!).  Be sure to always wear the proper safety gear when doing any project (gloves, safety goggles, etc.).  Once the diamond plate is cut, dry fit it to make sure that it fits correctly.  If it doesn't, be patient and keep making necessary cuts until it fits perfectly.  Finally, use a strong adhesive like Liquid Nails, evenly applied to the back of the diamond plate, and firmly press the sheet to the wall.  Make sure that the adhesive is evenly applied to the diamond plate or the sheet will have slight bumps or waves in it.  Hold the diamond plate sheet in place until the adhesive has had a chance to set.  After your aluminum diamond sheets are up and set, clean off the surface with a soft, slightly damp cloth.  You are now ready to use your new showplace!
