I used this to line the foundation in a garage we started using for an exercise room. It installs nicely over 1" Styrofoam insulation with White headed 1 1/2" metal siding screws and adhesive to hold the middle of the panels tight. I' d recommend spending the $50-70 to get a cheap power shear off of Amazon for the homeowner.. Really the only product I found in my extended search that was 1) easy to work with 2) durable and water safe for garage duty, 3) and not crazy expensive. Decent selection of prepainted colors, although I'd recommend adding a lighter grey as an option. My wife thought the gunmetal was too dark so I had to go with white. I would have purchased 12' panels if they were available -- would mean only one seam on a 2 car garage wall.
